Matt Penny
Senior Manager – Dental Recruitment Services

Matt has more than 20 years of recruitment experience in corporate, agency and healthcare. He spent eleven years at Manpower Group where he gained experience as a recruiter and leader in commercial staffing. Matt moved over to the healthcare industry in 2011 when he joined Genesis Healthcare, where he managed recruitment teams focused on allied, nurse and doctor recruiting for the New England Region. More recently, he was leading up the doctor recruitment efforts for multiple internal group practices (DSOs) at American Dental Partners, Heartland Dental and D4C Dental Brands. Matt has a BA from Gordon College. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to Northern Vermont, Cape Cod and Southwest Florida. He resides in North Andover, MA with his wife and two children.

Cindy Bickers
Manager Client Services – Nationwide – DRS

Cindy manages client relations for Henry Schein Dental Recruitment Services (HSDRS), Henry Schein’s dentist recruitment and placement division. Cindy has more than 20 years of experience in the dental recruitment space and was the owner of the business prior to being acquired by Henry Schein in 2012. Prior to Henry Schein, she gained experience in a variety of businesses. She was employed by a public-school corporation as a member of their accounting team. She worked as a Paralegal in both private and public sectors, and as a sales consultant for Xerox Corporation. Cindy enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, boating, and the beach.

Sarah Romano
Dental Recruiter – Northeast / North Central Regions

Sarah started her career in the dental industry in 2015 at American Dental Partners, Inc. For several years she led the Foundation in their mission to establish endowments and scholarships at dental school across the country. During her time there, she was able to start a University Relations program where she fostered relationships between the Foundation, doctors, and students. In 2019 she moved into a Talent Acquisition role and has been recruiting dentists ever since. Sarah lives in Windham, NH with her husband Joe, and their three kids – Piper, Eliza and Ellis.

Stephen Shulman
Dental Recruiter – Central & Pacific Regions

Stephen has been recruiting for six years across multiple industries. Prior to joining Henry Schein, he was at American Dental Partners where he focused on hygiene recruiting and D4C Dental Brands where he recruited for all practice roles. He enjoys building relationships and being able to provide candidates with a positive recruiting experience that leads them to a career and place that they love. He is excited to be on the DRS Team and looks forward to being a part of all the teams’ future accomplishments. He resides in Peabody, MA with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he spends time with family, playing golf, traveling, and attending sporting events.

Heather Wolfe
Associate Recruiter – Atlantic Coast Region

Heather Wolfe has nearly four years of recruitment experience. She spent two years working in foster care recruitment and has been in dental recruitment for the past two years at Henry Schein. She enjoys building relationships with doctors and providing the best possible candidate experience. Heather resides in Spring Hill, FL, with her husband, Chris, daughter Ava Grace and four dogs.
